The publication includes some of the papers presented at the seminar "Geopolitical Challenges of the Arctic and Antarctic” held in Santiago, organized by the Antarctic Studies Program of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile, the Millennium Institute BASE, and the Canadian Embassy in Chile, on March 20, 2025, as well as at the seminar “The Changing Poles: Antarctica and the Arctic,” organized in Punta Arenas by the Canadian Embassy in Chile together with the University of Magallanes on March 24, 2025.
