She is an evangelical pastor who has worked for several churches since 1981. She served as a distinguished public official in high-ranking positions within the Ecuadorian government for 35 years. She received the highest national award in 1987 as the best public official in the country.
She has been serving as a pastor since 1995, teaching biblical meaning and performing social work.
